The Nikos Kazantzakis Museum supporting the work of the volunteer group A.T.A.X.T.O.I. is pleased to participate in the action "No child without school supplies".
The action is organized for the 10th consecutive year in collaboration with the Primary Education Teachers Association of Heraklion - "Dominikos Theotokopoulos" and the Publishers and Booksellers Association of Heraklion, Crete.
The aim of the action is to support school and pre-school children from vulnerable social groups with school supplies to cover the needs of the year 2024-2025.
Last year, more than 600 children throughout the Heraklion prefecture received school supplies from the offer of citizens. The aim is to fill the school bags of all children this year and to fill the school bags of all children and to fill their families and the children themselves with smiles.
In the Shop of The Nikos Kazantzakis Museum you will find the box in which you can leave school supplies and support this action.
School supplies we collect:
1. School bags
2. Stationery (notebooks, drawing pads, etc.)
3. Stationery (pencils, pens, erasers, erasers, pencil sharpeners, markers, crayons)
4. Books
5. Pencil cases
Those who wish can offer used bags and cases, as long as they are clean and in good condition. Alternatively, you can purchase relevant school supplies from the Museum Shop at a 10% discount.
