Board of Directors meeting with the Governor of Crete

The new Board of Directors of the Nikos Kazantzakis Museum had its first meeting with the Governor of Crete, Stavro Arnaoutaki, on Tuesday January 28, at the Region's central offices.

The meeting was attended by the President of the Board, Mr. Andreas Metaxas, the Vice President and Deputy Regional Governor for Culture, Mrs. Georgia Milaki, board member Mr. Michalis Krasakis, and the Museum Director, Mrs. Marilena Milathianaki. 

The Governor expressed his appreciation for and his ongoing support of the Nikos Kazantzakis Museum, which he considers a spiritual beacon of the island and a cultural institution that produces internationally significant events. He also stated that the Region of Crete will stand by the new Board of Directors to support its proposals and vision.
