The Nikos Kazantzakis Museum is very happy to launch a new collaboration with Public Bus Services (KTEL Heraklion-Lasithi) !

Visitors wishing to visit the Museum will now be able to do it so easily and comfortably by using the intercity public bus services. Every Monday to Friday the route of the Heraklion-Kastelli line that departs from Heraklion at 13.00 and from Kasteli at 15.00 will make a stop at the village of Myrtia village, where the Nikos Kazantzakis Museum is located.

In addition, visitors will be able to purchase, free of charge, entrance tickets to the Kazantzakis Museum's Permanent Exhibition from the ticket offices of the KTEL Central Station in Heraklion.

With this collaboration, the interested visitors, as well as the passenger public, are greatly facilitated both in approaching the ancestral village of our great ecumenical writer, and in their access to The Nikos Kazantzakis Museum.

The Nikos Kazantzakis Museum is a museologically modern, green, accessible and digital museum and the only museum in Crete that has been awarded the title "Accredited Museum" by the Greek Ministry of Culture.
