The Nikos Kazantzakis Museum mourns the sudden death of Giorgos Grammatikakis, one of the last modern intellectuals of our country.
Giorgos Grammatikakis graced the Nikos Kazantzakis Museum, having served as President of its Board of Directors in the period 2007-2011, dedicating to this his light, the light that he so persistently studied and loved.
It is connected to the radical renovation of the Museum in 2010 and to its modern exhibition format, but also to the Museum's shift to events of great extroversion, which strengthened its global influence. Giorgos Grammatikakis never stopped being close to the Museum, following its actions and supporting it in every way.
It is with deep emotion that the Board of Directors and all the people of the Museum say goodbye to a great Greek almost on the same day of the anniversary of the death of Nikos Kazantzakis on his last journey to the stars that he studied in his scientific life and that he will now meet up close.
