It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to Aliki Matzapetakis who started the great journey to eternity.
Aliki, sister of Stelios and Nikos Matzapetakis, was a loyal friend of The Nikos Kazantzakis Museum. She was close to us in all our activities, conveying in every way her love and her encouragement in our efforts to highlight the work of the great Cretan writer. Aliki Matzapetaki was always distinguished for her ethics, the kindness of her manners, and the openness of her soul to each of our fellow citizens, characteristics that define a truly great noblewoman.
We will miss her!
