We all know the inevitable, common is fate where there is life. Even planets, galaxies die. As you wrote in "Count of Berenice". And yet many of them can still be seen in the firmament, reminding of their presence once upon a time.
George, your brilliance was too bright to be extinguished by your natural death.
It will shine for many generations. Because you weren't just a science major. You were gifted with "essence" that you gave value to, offering it freely in important actions in your life.
At the National Opera House, at The Nikos Kazantzakis Museum, which I had the happiness of being entrusted with when leaving the Presidency, but also in politics as an MEP with Potami Party.
Wherever you came from, you colored our lives with beautiful colors.
Farewell!
