Temporary exhibition
Objects, souvenirs, photos, letters sent from or referring to distant China, manuscripts and publications of the travel book Japan-China, of the novel The Rock Garden and of the theatre play Buddha reveal real and literary moments from Nikos Kazantzakis’ journey to the turtle of nations.

Our Silk Road
Photographic exhibition | China Cultural Center in Athens
China believes that, when it comes to different civilisations, exchange will replace estrangement, mutual learning will replace clashes, and coexistence will replace a sense of superiority. Selected from over 8.000 works by 330 photographers who attended the 5th World Photography Conference, the photos in this exhibition capture the natural beauty and tell stories about the cultures, the traditions and the people of the Silk Road Initiative around eight topics: “Our Homes”, “How We Travel”, “Our Faces”, “How We Grow Up”, “Our Traditions”, “Our Friendship”, “Our Harvest”, “Our Festivals”.
